Electronic I/O Controllers

Complex machines require complex controls and for over 35 years, HED has been a leader in providing a wide variety of controllers to support complex OEM requirements. Our Electronic Controllers are designed for severe duty mobile applications and are being used all over the world in critical vehicle applications including construction, military, rescue, and utility. Our controllers operate in J1939 CAN or CANopen systems and we offer software programming tools to enable simplified programming and setup. We also provide a board support package to allow OEMs to create and use their own specific tools. 

Module types:

  • Master control module - contain application software and operate the vehicle control functions
  • Client IO module - communicate over J1939 or CANopen with a master control module.
